How it works

  1. Set your rounding interval, direction, and lunch deduction at the top.
  2. Optionally pick a Monday to label each row with its calendar date and show the ISO week number.
  3. Enter each employee's Time In and Time Out for each day worked.
  4. Leave the per-day Lunch field blank to use the global deduction, or enter a value (including 0) to override it for that day only.
  5. Overnight shifts are handled automatically — if Time Out is earlier than Time In, 24 hours are added.
  6. Each day's hours are rounded per your settings, and the Weekly Total sums the rounded daily hours.
  7. Export the results to CSV or PDF from the Summary section.

Frequently asked questions

How does overnight shift handling work?

If the Time Out on a given row is earlier than the Time In (for example, 22:00 to 06:00), the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight and adds 24 hours before subtracting.

How is rounding applied?

Rounding is applied to each day's calculated hours individually, using the interval and direction you set. The Weekly Total is the sum of the already-rounded daily hours.

How does the per-day lunch override work?

Leave the Lunch field blank on any day to use the global lunch setting (respecting the on/off toggle). Enter a number to override it for that day only — even 0, which forces no deduction regardless of the global setting.
